Display Condition
Introduction
Display conditions determine when an Upsells group appears to customers. Conditions are applied at the group level, not to individual widgets. All widgets within a group are shown or hidden together.
This allows you to create multiple groups at the same touchpoint for different scenarios. For example:
- Group 1: The cart contains a product from the "Skincare" collection → recommend a serum.
- Group 2: The cart contains a product from the "Body" collection → recommend a lotion.
A group without any conditions is set to Always show by default.
How to Use
- Select an Upsells group on the canvas. The Display condition panel opens on the right.
- Click Add condition, then select a condition type, operator, and value in the popover.
- Add as many conditions as needed. Each condition appears as a summary row. Click a row to edit it, or hover over it to reveal the delete button.
- Click Save or Cancel. If you close the panel with unsaved changes, the app prompts you to Keep editing, Discard, or Save changes.
On the canvas, each group displays the number of conditions applied (e.g., "2 conditions") or Always if no conditions are set.

Important Rules
- All conditions within a group use AND logic. Every condition must match for the group to appear.
- Multiple matching groups can appear simultaneously. At Popup on ATC, Cart Drawer, Checkout, and Thank-you, widgets from all matching groups are displayed. Post-purchase supports only one offer page, so configure conditions to avoid overlapping groups at this touchpoint.
- Popup on ATC evaluates the product being added to the cart, not the entire cart. Cart Drawer conditions evaluate the entire cart.
- The between operator is inclusive. For example, "between 200 and 1,000" includes both 200 and 1,000.
- Order total at Checkout is an estimate. It uses the subtotal available at the checkout stage, excluding shipping and taxes.
- Only conditions supported by the selected touchpoint are available. For example, Cart subtotal is not available at Checkout.
- Changing conditions requires republishing the funnel. After you save a change, the funnel status becomes Need republishing. The updated conditions take effect on the storefront only after you publish the funnel again.
- Widgets may be hidden independently of group conditions. A widget is automatically hidden when no eligible products are available, such as when products are out of stock or already present in the cart or order, depending on the widget's settings.
- The Subscription group pinned to Cart Drawer and Checkout applies to all line items in the cart or order. You can only enable or disable this group. It automatically appears on eligible product lines that have a selling plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Why doesn't my popup appear when I set a Product collections condition?
Popup on ATC checks the product the customer just added to the cart. If that product does not belong to the selected collection, the group will not appear—even if another product already in the cart belongs to that collection.
Current Limitations
- OR logic is not supported within a single group. To handle multiple scenarios, create separate groups with their own conditions.
